How your face is perceived by others is heavily influenced by your eyes, which are a key aspect of facial appearance. While beauty is subjective, there is a general consensus in the literature regarding the ideal width of the eyes, with a range of 31 to 35 mm being accepted for individuals with average height and weight proportions. Ideally, the inner corners of the eyes should be aligned perpendicularly with the nose, while the outer corners should form a straight diagonal line with the nose. The outer corners of the eyes should be slightly elevated compared to the inner corners, with the precise angle varying based on individual facial features. In general, larger eyes are considered more attractive. Procedures such as double eyelid or ptosis correction that increase the visibility of the iris and the amount of white area in the eyes can provide a more esthetic look. Additional procedures such as excess skin removal on the upper and lower eyelids, and removal of eye bags and drooping can also be done to achieve a more youthful and healthy appearance.
Eyelid Lifting (Blepharoplasty)
This procedure is typically performed when excess skin on the upper eyelid area creates a drooping effect and contributes to an older appearance. Our doctors will remove the excess skin and may also reposition or remove fat in the area. In addition to improving the appearance of the upper eyelid, this procedure can also reduce forehead wrinkles by reducing the need for forehead muscles to compensate for upper eyelid weakness.

The surgery typically takes 1/2 hour and is performed under local anesthesia. Following the procedure, you will be discharged from the hospital the same day and we will schedule 1 check-up 6 days after the surgery. During your stay in Istanbul, we will provide accommodation for one week.
It typically takes between 3 and 4 weeks for your appearance to fully recover. However, the surgery will continue to settle over the course of 6 to 9 months until you have fully recovered.
Upper Blepharoplasty
Lower Blepharoplasty
This procedure is designed to address sagging or excess skin in the lower eyelid area, which can create a tired or aged appearance. Our doctors will carefully remove any excess skin and reposition or graft fat in the area to achieve a smoother, more youthful look. The incision will be made on the lower eyelid and will result in minimal scarring.

The surgery typically lasts for about 1 hour and general anesthesia is used.

Patients will stay in the hospital overnight and we will schedule 3 check-ups following the surgery: one after the operation, one before discharge, and one 6 days after the surgery.

We will provide accommodations for one week in Istanbul to ensure a smooth recovery.

Patients can expect to see significant improvement in their appearance within 3-4 weeks, with full recovery and settling of the surgery taking place within 6-9 months.
Lateral Canthoplasty
This procedure is intended for patients who have a narrow outer corner of the eye. When the outer corner of the eye is shorter than usual, it can cause the white area of the eye to be hidden behind the lids, resulting in a smaller-looking eye. Short corners can make the eye appear narrow, while overexposed corners can give a more intense appearance. With lateral canthoplasty, we can achieve a balance of eye corner widths and help your eyes shine brighter and look more gentle. The surgery typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour, and general anesthesia is administered. You will need to stay overnight in the hospital and attend three check-ups, one after the surgery, one before discharge, and one six days after the surgery. We will accommodate you for a week in Istanbul, and your appearance will recover within 1 to 2 weeks. Full recovery and the settling of the surgery may take between 6 to 9 months.
