Neuro Toxin Treatment

Botulinum Toxin A is a medical toxin that is commonly used to block nerve receptors and immobilize muscle movement for a period of about 4-6 months. At Prime Med Tours, we offer botulinum toxin A treatment for patients who are not eligible for excess skin removal surgery, and would like to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and calves. The ratio of botulinum toxin A to saline solution used in the treatment will depend on the area being treated, and is carefully mixed and diluted by our skilled doctors. It is important to note that some clinics may use overdiluted botulinum toxin A, which typically lasts for only 2-3 months. However, at Prime Med Tours, we use standard solutions to ensure long-term satisfaction.

The botulinum toxin A treatment typically lasts for 30 minutes, and is performed under local anesthesia. Patients can leave the hospital within 2 hours after the treatment, and no follow-up visit is necessary. We recommend that patients stay in Istanbul for at least one day after the procedure. While patients may experience some initial swelling, their appearance should fully recover within one week, with full recovery and settlement of the procedure taking approximately 2 weeks.

We recommend that you stay in Istanbul for one day for each periodic therapy session you intend to receive.Your appearance should recover within a week, and you will fully recuperate and the procedure will settle within two weeks.

What you need to do before surgery

To prepare for your surgery with Prime Med Tours, we ask that you stop taking any unnecessary medications and support pills (such as aspirin, hormonal supplements, vitamins, birth control, etc.) two weeks prior to your surgery. It is also important to discontinue the use of any substances that may increase bleeding. If you are currently undergoing treatment for heart conditions, hypertension, thyroid issues, or diabetes, please inform us of your situation.

Before undergoing surgery, it is important to prioritize your health. The healthier you are before surgery, the quicker your recovery period will be. We recommend refraining from smoking and drinking alcohol at least three days before your surgery and consuming a diet rich in fruits and vegetables to aid in your recovery.

On the day of your surgery with Prime Med Tours, we ask that you remove all jewelry, hearing buds, contact lenses, makeup, and any other on-body accessories. Please wear comfortable clothing on the day of your surgery.

The procedures you choose will be performed under either local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Prior to the operation, you will be required to fast for up to 8 hours, refraining from both food and drink.

What you need to do after surgery

At Prime Med Tours, we are committed to providing you with full support from the moment you arrive at the airport until the end of your recovery period. Our team will ensure that you receive excellent nursing care that exceeds your expectations, assist you with communication, monitor your recovery progress, and follow up with your post-surgery medication.

Following your surgery, you may experience swelling for 2-3 days, and the level of swelling may differ between sides. To aid in your recovery, we provide ice packs that can be applied to the affected areas.

To ensure optimal healing, it is important to sleep on your back, attend all scheduled check-ups and cleanings, and complete all medication prescribed after your surgery.
